To whom willing to be a master course student
*PhD students are not acceptable in our unit

We are committed to promptly replying to inquiries from those who meet the criteria for being accepted as candidates for the master's student in our unit. After you get the reply, you need to discuss your study plan in an online meeting before applying to the exam.

Please carefully read the basic requirements for our unit below.

A former professor who majored in forestry engineering retired in March 2022. Now, we are working on socio-economic studies on forest and forestry.
You must have research experience in a Social Science or Economics-related field, such as your bachelor's thesis or research projects.

Those will conduct research overseas (outside of Japan)
You must raise funds for your study by yourself, including travel expenses for your research.

Those will conduct research in Japan.
You will need high proficiency in Japanese to communicate with your research object, who sometimes speaks dialect or jargon far higher than the JLPT N1 level.
